Research highlights: Principal investigator (PI) on pilot grant studying how dentists and hygienists use electronic dental records, four different projects studying Web-based patient simulations to assist physicians in controlling patient blood pressure, glucose and lipid levels.
Research interests/expertise: Dental health services, diabetes health services, the clinical value of electronic health records.
Current projects: Works with all health-related data sets at HealthPartners, including data on claims, costs, charges, diagnoses, drugs, laboratory tests, laboratory results and RVU, DRG and CPT-4 codes.
