Overview
HealthPartners Research Foundation awards "internal grants" using a competitive process. HPRF has two tracks of internal grant funding: Discovery Grants and Partnership Grants. Both tracks will be eligible for a grant up to $25,000 awarded by the Research Committee. Applicants choose a track according to the table below.

Benefit/Implementation Commitment |
Includes rationale of the significance of this research to the team, the division, HealthPartners or to the community. |
Includes a commitment by the operational leader to implement lessons learned. |
Next Steps |
Includes a detailed description of plans for dissemination of study findings. |
At conclusion of the study a report details the use of any findings and/or implementation plans. |
For Discovery Grants only, we will give priority to those that
- Invest in an investigator who is new to research or new to HealthPartners
- Invest in a project that has promise for future outside funding

* Researcher: Expert in study methodology, data collection and analysis. This person will be responsible for the study implementation with attention to timelines, IRB relationships, data reporting, analysis, publication plans, and updates to the Research Committee.
** Operational Leader: Leader of the operational area where any potential application of the research results would be applied. This person will be responsible to influence or execute implementation of what is learned from the study.

Submission Dates:
Discovery Grants and Partnership Grants will be considered according to the deadlines listed here. Partnership grants will be allowed more rapid review if necessary and accommodated for any month's application deadlines.
