Responsible Conduct in Research Training

All researchers and staff at HealthPartners (any entity) who have direct involvement in proposing, performing, or reporting research are required to complete a training course.

Your ability to work on research projects is contingent upon completing this training requirement.

If you have received this training elsewhere, please submit any certificates of completion to Bobette K. Godding at Mail Stop 11503H.

Responsible Conduct in Research Training consists of two parts:

PART 1 - Responsible Conduct in Research
CHOOSE ONE OF THE FOLLOWING OPTIONS

Option #1. The University of Miami online training

Instructions:
1. Go to the University of Miami website tutorial: www.citiprogram.org to register. You may go in and out of this program to suit your schedule, but plan on a minimum of 2 hours and a maximum of 6 hours

3. Complete the course including the additional HealthPartners quiz.

4. Bobette Godding will be informed automatically that you completed the training.

OR YOU MAY CHOOSE:

OPTION #2 - Read "Protecting Study Volunteers in Research" by Dunn & Chadwick

Instructions:
1. Request a copy of this book by contacting Kari Joy Garman via email: kari.j.garman@HealthPartners.com or phone:651-254-2928.

2. Read the book and complete quiz at end of book.

3. Read the HPRF Compliance Manual and complete the HealthPartners quiz.

4. Send BOTH the Dunn & Chadwick quiz and HealthPartners quiz with your answers to Bobette K. Godding at Mail Stop 11503H.

PART 2 - Research Privacy and Integrity

Instructions:
1. Go to http://healthpartners.skillport.com
2. Log on

4. Click Play This Course. (The course takes about 15 to 30 minutes to complete.)

Bobette Godding will send you an email confirming she has received information that you have completed the training. Please keep this email for your records.
