Research Interests
Dr. Maciosek's work focuses on identifying the best use of prevention
and disease management resources. His methods for evaluating cost-effectiveness
studies have provided the basis for methods implemented by the Task Force
on Community Preventive Services, the US Preventive Services Task Force,
and The Committee on Clinical Preventive Services Priorities. He maintains
interests in a variety of preventable diseases and their sequelae, including
heart disease, diabetes, cancer, and infectious disease.
